FBF – Birds of a feather

I've been unfortunately stuck in bed all week sick unable to sketch much so following yesterdays post, I thought I'd put this little birdie up. He is my only other pen drawing ever. Clearly not my favourite media. Happy weekend everyone xxx

Happy Valentines Day with Giambattista Valli

Good afternoon and Happy Valentines Day everyone. I hope your days are filled with hugs, kisses, flowers, chocolate and above all love and special people all around. I spent my afternoon finishing off this little Giambattista Valli illustration from Paris Haute Couture Week SS15. Very excited to get it off to the printers. Anyways, Happy V-Day! xxx

Giambattista Valli W.I.P

Giambattista Valli – haute couture Spring/Summer 2015  Photo credit: Vogue.co.uk All of last weeks Paris Haute Couture Spring-Summer runway designs were so amazing, However my favourites lied in Giambattista Valli. This evening I started my new project with some experimentation scanning beads, feathers and sequins. I managed to get some interesting effects which I may experiment illustrating tomorrow.

Interviewing her and having the chance to pick her brain was such a beneficial afternoon and definitely set my mind a little at ease in concern with starting out as an illustrator. Knowing there are so many
